As they say, “There’s more than one way to peel a banana.” Despite their 2nd (of 6 children) having achieved an 88th percentile mark on the worldwide recognized Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SATs), his applications for Cegeps were rejected on the grounds of “having insufficient education to enroll in Cegep in Quebec”. Undaunted by this, they were able to successfully enroll their son for university through other accepted means. Come learn some very helpful hints and suggestions on how to help your young people progress to Post Secondary education in the Quebec system that is, as yet, not designed to accommodate the uniqueness of the home-educated student.

Le paradigme actuel est que la théorie de l’évolution est une science et que les autres alternatives ne sont que des croyances. Qu’en est-il vraiment? Dans cet atelier, nous vous exposerons l’origine de la théorie de l’évolution et la philosophie du naturalisme qui l’alimente. Nous apporterons également un éclairage nécessaire sur la méthode scientifique ainsi que sur la différence entre la science expérimentale et la science historique. Finalement, nous définirons la microévolution (faits observables de changement à l’intérieur d’une espèce) et la macroévolution (suppositions sans base scientifique de changement d’une espèce vers une autre). Au bout du compte, vous verrez que la théorie de l’évolution n’est pas une science comme on l’entend, mais plutôt une pseudoscience basée sur des croyances.
