Dear ACPEQ members and friends,
The ACPEQ was informed that some of our member families received a notice to register their child to the school board or district school, although they have notified the Minister of their intention to homeschool.
It is our understanding these contacts were miscommunications due to the fact that homeschooling families are still in school boards’ databases. As a result, homeschooling families may inadvertently receive January/February enrolment emails from their school boards.
The ACPEQ worked with the DEM to resolve the situations reported to us. If you are contacted by your school board, please let us know so that we can assist in responding to the school board’s communication.

ACPEQ is composed of dedicated volunteers who generously invest their time and talents to advance and support the cause of homeschooling.
A large number of volunteer families within ACPEQ is essential to enable us to offer the services that support homeschooling, improve support for members, and create a welcoming atmosphere in our association. A wide volunteer base is what will permit us to influence the next generation of homeschooling families. Be involved – become an ACPEQ volunteer.
