ACPEQ Latest News and Event Calendar for October 2021
Dear membres,
I hope your return to homeschool is going well. Here are some news since I wrote to you this summer:
We held a multi-association meeting with representatives of the DEM on September 20th. The hot topics discussed were those of mandatory ministerial exams, certification of studies and CSS.
On Monday, October 25, at 8:00 p.m., ACPEQ will offer a personalized workshop for new members, on Zoom, to help new parent educators who have embarked on the homeschooling journey to become familiar with the many resources offered by ACPEQ. This meeting is exclusively for ACPEQ members.
ACPEQ is pleased to be committed to supporting and enriching the home school community in Quebec. This section of the newsletter is devoted to resources for members such as support for parent educators, explanatory documents, explanatory videos and information sessions.
FOLLOW-UP WITH THE DIRECTION DE L’ENSEIGNEMENT À LA MAISON
In this section of the website, you will find everything you need to know about the documents to be submitted to the Direction de l’Enseignement à la Maison (DEM), the law and the regulations.
Patrice Boileau, president of ACPEQ, and two mothers, members of ACPEQ, Nancy Roy and Andra Profir, presented a picture of homeschooling on the French television programme « Il est écrit », aired on the TVA and Noovo stations.
We are pleased to present this interview here.
ACPEQ is made up of dedicated volunteers who generously contribute their time and talents. Join the team! ACPEQ needs you!
